Subject: G5 Web Site Now Available
The system maintenance that impacted the G5 Web site on January 23, 2012 was completed early this morning, Tuesday, January 24, 2012. The G5 Web site is now available and users can conduct financial transactions. The Department of Education (the Department) appreciates your patience as it completed the necessary work.
COD System Processing Impact
The Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System continues to accept Federal Pell Grant, Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant, Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant, and William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan records.
Current Funding Level (CFL) changes (as a result of actual disbursements) and funding have been processed by G5 in the order the files were received. We expect financial data to be updated in both G5 and the COD System by the morning of Wednesday, January 25, 2012.
