Subject: POSTPONED-Full Conversion to New Debt Management and Collections System

Previously, in an August 24, 2011 Electronic Announcement posted on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) Web site, we informed the financial aid community about the full conversion to a new debt management and collections system and its impact to processing during August and September 2011. Based on results from the trial work completed during the period August 26-28, 2011, it is necessary to postpone full conversion to the new system.

Accordingly, debt management and collections system processing has returned to normal. The group of approximately 100,000 borrower accounts moved to the new system during the trial period has been returned to the current system.

Further updates and a new date for the full conversion to the new debt management and collections system will be provided at a later time.

We apologize for any inconvenience the postponement may have caused.
