Summary: 2011 FSA Conference Sessions Descriptions
FSA’s Fall Conference will be held in Las Vegas, NV at the MGM Grand Conference Center from November 29 through December 2, 2011. To date, there are over 3,500 financial aid professionals registered for the conference and we anticipate that over 5,500 will ultimately attend this event.
This year’s program is quite extensive. We are offering 47 breakout training sessions intended to educate the financial aid community about Federal student loan regulations, processing, servicing, reconciliation, and system(s) usage, as well as Gainful Employment updates, program integrity issues, verification, and more. It is going to be a very busy week, so please plan on being there for four full days.
We have posted the preliminary session list to our website at http://fsaconferences.ed.gov/program11.html. In the coming months, we will post the conference schedule followed by the conference session presentations.
In an effort to conserve natural resources, reduce waste, minimize our impact on the environment and lower conference costs, we will not be providing any session presentations at the conference. Once posted on our website, please plan to print out the presentations of those sessions you wish to attend and bring them to the conference.
