Subject: OUTAGE ALERT--NSLDS Service Outage Scheduled for July 9-10, 2011
During the period of July 9-10, 2011, we plan to execute extended system maintenance that will impact the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) Web site and NSLDS Professional Access Web site. Please review the information in this announcement and evaluate the impact on your school or organization during the period when the affected NSLDS systems will be unavailable.
NSLDS Web sites Unavailable from 6:00 A.M. (ET) Saturday, July 9, 2011 until 8:00 A.M. (ET) Sunday, July 10, 2011
From 6:00 A.M. (ET) on Saturday, July 9, 2011 until 8:00 A.M. (ET) on Sunday, July 10, 2011, the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) Student Access Web site and the NSLDS Professional Access Web site will be unavailable in order to implement system upgrades. During this time, schools and borrowers will receive an error message informing them that these Web sites are unavailable.
Note: In addition to the NSLDS extended outage and routine Web site maintenance that occurs each weekend for many of our systems, we will also be implementing additional Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System functionality for the 2011-2012 Award Year.
