Subject: OUTAGE ALERT--SAIG Mailbox Service Outage Scheduled for May 8, 2011
On Sunday, May 8, 2011, we need to execute an extended maintenance activity that will impact the Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) mailbox servers. Please review the information in this announcement and evaluate the impact on your school or organization during the period when the affected SAIG functions will be unavailable.
Note: Routine Web site maintenance that occurs each weekend will also be completed as scheduled and announced through other communications methods.
SAIG Mailbox Functions Unavailable from 12:00 A.M. (ET) until 12:00 P.M. (ET) Sunday, May 8, 2011
From 12:00 A.M. (ET) until12:00 P.M. (ET) on Sunday, May 8, 2011, the SAIG mailbox functions will be unavailable in order to implement system updates. During this time, schools will receive an error message informing them that the SAIG is unavailable.
