Subject: 2011-2012 CPS Web Demonstration (Demo) Site Available on December 26, 2010
We are pleased to announce that the 2011-2012 Central Processing System (CPS) Web Demonstration (demo) site, located at http://fafsademo.test.ed.gov, will be available for your use on Sunday, December 26, 2010. Most of the features of the production versions of 2011-2012 FAFSA on the Web and FAA Access to CPS Online (including Return of Title IV Funds) will be available on the demo site.
The demo site, which is preloaded with test data, can be used to demonstrate electronic applications to parents and students or as an aid in training financial aid administrators to assist applicants. Financial aid administrators can also use the Web site to become familiar with FAA Access to CPS Online and train their staff to use the system.
Note: The demo version of the 2011-2012 ISIR Analysis Tool will be available beginning in May 2011, shortly after the release of the 2011-2012 production version of the ISIR Analysis Tool.
On or after December 26, 2010, you can access the 2011-2012 version of the demo site using the following user name and password:
User Name: eddemo
Password: fafsatest
The user name and password fields are case-sensitive.
