Subject: Applications for the "Off-Campus Community Service Program"

On Friday, July 9, the Office of Postsecondary Education published in the Federal Register a Notice inviting applications from institutions participating in the Federal Work-Study Program for awards under the "Off-Campus Community Service Program". As stated in the Notice, an estimated $742,500 is available to be awarded in Fiscal Year 2010 and we expect to make approximately eleven awards. Note that the deadline for submission of applications is August 9, 2010.

The easiest way to obtain an application for a grant under the "Off-Campus Community Service Program" is to access the Department’s e-Grants website at http://e-grants.ed.gov. After clicking the "Continue" button, select the first tab - "e-Application", click the "Application Packages" button, then scroll down the list of applications and click on the "Off-Campus Community Service Program" (CFDA 84.116H) to open the PDF file.
