Subject: Emergency Outage Alert - StudentLoans.gov Web Site Unavailable on March 30, 2010
We are currently experiencing issues with the StudentLoans.gov Web site, and the Web site is currently unavailable to users. Users will not receive a message about the site’s unavailability if they attempt to access the site at this time—they will receive an error message or be otherwise unable to access the site. We are working to resolve the issues and restore normal Web operations as expeditiously as possible.
In two Electronic Announcements posted on March 29, 2010 (Emergency Outage Alert and Issue Update), we reported issues with the StudentLoans.gov Web site. We had resumed operations and did not anticipate further impact to our StudentLoans.gov customers.
We are continuing our work to resolve the issues affecting the StudentLoans.gov Web site and will provide another status update later today.
