Subject: RESCHEDULED-G5 Web Site Outage Moved to January 22-25, 2010
Previously, in a January 8, 2010 Electronic Announcement posted on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) Web site, we informed the financial aid community about a maintenance activity that would have impacted the G5 Web site during the upcoming holiday weekend. At this time, the maintenance activity has been rescheduled as described below.
From 7:00 P.M. (ET) on Friday, January 22, 2010 through 6:00 A.M. (ET) on Monday, January 25, 2010, the G5 Web site will not be available due to system maintenance. Schools will not be able to draw down Campus-Based, Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG), Federal Pell Grant (Pell Grant), National Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent Grant (National SMART Grant), Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant, and William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (Direct Loan) funds during this period.
Note: The Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System will undergo routine maintenance and system updates during this weekend. Schools should refer to a January 14, 2010 Electronic Announcement posted on the IFAP Web site for an explanation of this activity.
We apologize for any inconvenience the planned outages may have caused.
