Subject: Federal Student Aid Data Center

Federal Student Aid is pleased to announce the recent establishment of the Federal Student Aid Data Center. The Data Center, available at www.FSADataCenter.ed.gov, serves as a centralized on-line source for Federal Student Aid data. The Data Center compiles information from across the Department and provides self-service access for our customers and stakeholders to the most frequently requested information.

Specifically, the Data Center publishes award year data on a quarterly basis for each of the Title IV programs by school. Application volume reports are also available on the site. As a result, the quarterly Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) reports previously posted on the IFAP Web site will be discontinued.

In addition, customers can easily access school, lender, guaranty agency, and default data as well as the Ensuring Continued Access to Student Loans Act (ECASLA) Loan Purchase Program Activity Reports on the Data Center.

We encourage you to visit the new Federal Student Aid Data Center at www.FSADataCenter.ed.gov.
