Subject: 2010-2011 Application Processing System Specifications for Software Developers (Draft)

Federal Student Aid is pleased to announce the posting of the draft Application Processing System Specifications for Software Developers for the 2010-2011 cycle.

Please note the following:

  • Testing of these specifications will not be complete until January 1, 2010. Software developers should be prepared to receive updates to the specifications until that time.

  • Draft 2010-2011 Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR) layouts are included in the draft 2010-2011 EDE Technical Reference, which is now available on the IFAP and FSAdownload Web sites.

In addition to its current availability on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) Web site, the specifications will also be available in the next several days from the Federal Student Aid Download (FSAdownload) Web site, located at https://www.fsadownload.ed.gov.
