Subject: Web Site Outages Planned for February 13, 14, and 16, 2009

On February 13, 14, and 16, 2009, we need to execute Web site maintenance activities. These activities will be in addition to our routine Web site maintenance that occurs each weekend. We apologize for the short notice about these additional outages; however, it is important that we complete the work over the upcoming weekend.

This announcement provides information about the Web sites that will be affected during each outage period. We present this information in the following order:

  • Web Sites Unavailable 4:00 A.M. - 8:00 A.M. (ET) Friday, February 13, 2009

  • Web Sites Unavailable 4:00 A.M. - 8:00 A.M. (ET) Saturday, February 14, 2009

  • Web Sites Unavailable 4:00 A.M. - 8:00 A.M. (ET) Monday, February 16, 2009

Note: Routine Web site maintenance that occurs each weekend will also be completed as scheduled and announced through other communications methods. In addition, we provided information about processing and customer service hours on the Washington’s Birthday Federal holiday (Monday, February 16, 2009) in a February 6, 2009 Electronic Announcement posted on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) Web site.

Please review all of the information and evaluate impact on your school or organization during the periods when the affected Web sites will be unavailable.

From 4:00 A.M. until 8:00 A.M. (ET) on Friday, February 13, 2009, users will be unable to access the following Web sites:
