Subject: Reminder to Submit Orders for 2009-2010 Application Products and Publications

Helping Students Pay for College

Federal Student Aid provides over $80 billion annually in financial assistance for college. To receive federal student aid, students must complete theFree Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible after January 1 st. There are three ways that a student can complete the FAFSA:

  1. Apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

  2. Download and complete a PDF version of the FAFSA at www.FederalStudentAid.ed.gov (Note: PDF FAFSAs must be mailed for processing).

  3. Request a paper FAFSA by calling the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-4-FED-AID (1-800-433-3243) or 1-319-337-5665.

You can help the Department increase access to information about financial aid for college. We publish information explaining federal student aid programs and procedures, inspiring students to go to postsecondary school, and informing students and families about how to pay for college.

Specific application products are also available via FSAPubs. Orders for the 2009-2010 FAFSA on the Web Worksheet can be placed now and will ship mid-December. For the 2009-2010 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), bulk orders will not be filled, however limited quantities will be available by special request for organizations that may need to receive copies. Visit www.FSAPubs.org and click on “special request form” or call our FSAPubs customer service line at 1-800-394-7084. You will be asked to provide information that will be used by Federal Student Aid to inform future paper availability.
