Subject: Unavailability of SAIG Enrollment Web Site and FAA Access to CPS Online
We would like to announce that the Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) Enrollment Web site (fsawebenroll.ed.gov) and FAA Access to CPS Online (fafsa.ed.gov/FOTWWebApp/faa/faa.jsp) will be unavailable Sunday, December 14, 2008 from 5:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. (ET) so we can implement annual system updates. This includes adding a new 2009-2010 option for those services that are based on the academic year.
Users currently enrolled for 2008-2009 batch or FAA Access services will be automatically enrolled for the 2009-2010 cycle.
The SAIG Enrollment Web site enables users to save incomplete transactions that can be retrieved later and completed. Please be aware that you must retrieve and complete any saved transactions by 4:59 A.M. (ET) on Sunday, December 14, 2008. Otherwise, your saved information will be removed to avoid any compatibility problems.
Note: Outage information for the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System, the COD Web site, the Direct Loan Electronic Master Promissory Note Web site and the TEACH Grant Agreement to Serve Web site will be provided in a forthcoming Electronic Announcement.
