Dear Colleagues,

Starting August 1, 2008, Federal Student Aid Information Center (FSAIC) initiated the phase out of the mailbox. Accordingly, Federal Student Aid will remove any remaining references to from its websites and publications. Future email inquiries should be mailed to

Mail sent to the SFA mailbox (—

  • Starting August 1, 2008 thru September 29, 2008, customers received the following message as an auto-reply to all non-spam inquiries and the message will be forwarded to
    • “Thank you for your inquiry. Federal Student Aid is no longer using the e-mail address. We have forwarded your inquiry to, from which you will receive a reply. Please send future inquiries to”

    Responses to the inquiry will come from

  • Starting October 1, 2008 customers will receive the following message as an auto-reply to all non-spam inquiries.
    • “The mailbox to which you addressed your inquiry ( is no longer in service. Please direct your inquiries regarding Federal Student Aid to Thank you.”

At this point, there will be no response to the inquiry.
