Federal Student Aid is pleased to release a draft of the 2009-2010 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

In an effort to make sure you are updated with the most recent draft of the 2009-20010 FAFSA and to assure that you have a forum to provide comments, Federal Student Aid is posting this IFAP notice. We welcome your comments, ideas and suggestions about the FAFSA. If you wish to provide comments, please write to us at FAFSA.Comments@ed.gov. This is the same draft that was posted on 08-01-2008 and comments or questions that were submitted previous to this announcement need not be resubmitted.

A Notice opening a formal 60-day public comment period was published in the Federal Register on August 28, 2008. The Federal Register Notice is posted as a PDF along side this announcement, for your convenience.

We ask that you provide your comments by October 28, 2008. For detailed information on the changes for the 2009-2010 FAFSA, see the Summary of Changes document attached below.
