We are pleased to announce the next two live Internet Webinars, to be conducted by Department of Education staff, on the Department's plans to purchase FFEL Program loans and Participation Interests in FFEL Program loans under the provisions of the Ensuring Continued Access to Student Loans Act of 2008 (Pub. L. 110-227).

The first Webinar will cover the provisions of the Master Participation Agreement (posted on July 10, 2008 at www.federalstudentaid.ed.gov/ffelp), that covers the terms and conditions of the Loan Participation Purchase Program. This briefing will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Eastern Time.

The second Webinar will review the Master Loan Sale Agreement that covers the terms and conditions of the Loan Purchase Commitment Program. This briefing will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2008 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Eastern Time.
