The ISIR Guide assists financial aid administrators (FAAs) in interpreting student information on the 2007-2008 version of the Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR). ISIRs contain processed student information reported on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), as well as key processing results and National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) financial aid history information. The Central Processing System (CPS) sends ISIRs electronically to institutions. For information regarding April 2008 updates to the 2007-2008 ISIR Guide, consult the tracking log of changes posted with the guide. The updated 2007-2008 ISIR Guide and tracking log of changes are available in PDF format on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) Web site, located at http://ifap.ed.gov.
