Summary: COD Processing Alert - Batch Processing On Hold

Posted on 01-24-2008

We are currently experiencing an issue with the processing of batches submitted to the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System. For this reason, we began holding batches at 12:00 P.M. (ET) on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 and will continue to do so until we resolve the issue. This means that the processing and acknowledgement of batches back to schools will take longer than usual to occur.

We are working to resolve the issue and resume normal COD batch processing as soon as possible. In the meantime, we ask that affected schools refrain from resubmitting batches. Batch resubmission will result in unnecessary error messages.

We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding. We will post another announcement on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) Web site after we resolve the COD batch processing issue and resume normal operations.
