As we informed you in an October 19, 2007 Electronic Announcement posted on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) Web site, we are in the process of relocating the data center that supports numerous Federal Student Aid systems and Web sites. The data center relocation is scheduled to occur in multiple phases.

We plan to implement another data center relocation phase during the period January 18-21, 2008. Below is information about the systems and Web sites that will be affected by this implementation. Please review this information and evaluate impact to your school or organization during the periods when the affected systems and Web sites will be unavailable.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete the required activities during the January 18-21, 2008 period.

Systems and Web Sites Unavailable from 5:00 P.M. (ET) Friday, January 18, 2008 until 1:30 A.M. (ET) Saturday, January 19, 2008.

From 5:00 P.M. (ET) on Friday, January 18, 2008 until 1:30 A.M. (ET) on Saturday, January 19, 2008 the following systems and Web sites will be unavailable:

  • ISIR Analysis Tool
  • FAFSA Demo
  • National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) Financial Aid Professionals Web Site
  • NSLDS Student Web Site

Systems and Web Sites Unavailable from 5:00 P.M. (ET) Friday, January 18, 2008 until 8:00 A.M. (ET) Monday, January 21, 2008

From 5:00 P.M. (ET) on Friday, January 18, 2008 until 8:00 A.M. (ET) on Monday, January 21, 2008, the following systems and Web sites will be unavailable:

  • Direct Loan Electronic Master Promissory Note (MPN) Web Site
  • Electronic Application for Approval to Participate in Federal Student Financial Aid Programs (E-App) Web Site
  • eZ-Audit Web Site
  • Postecondary Education Participants System (PEPS)

Note: Monday, January 21, 2008 is the Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. Federal holiday.
