Summary: 2008-2009 Federal School Code List Available on IFAP Home Page
As we announced on November 1, 2007, the 2008-2009 Federal School Code List of Participating Schools is available in PDF format on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) Web site (http://ifap.ed.gov). In addition to the Federal School Code search that is already available on FAFSA on the Web, the PDF file will provide you with the most current information available in a searchable format. We no longer distribute the list in hard-copy format.A new link has now been created on the IFAP home page for the Federal School Code List, under the heading "Publications." Clicking on the link will provide you with quick access to this list, as well as a document entitled "How To Use the Federal School Code List," a useful tool for anyone completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
As a reminder, we will update the electronic Federal School Code List each quarter. The next update for 2008-2009 will be available on IFAP on February 1, 2008.
