| Publication Date: September 4, 2007 Author: Susan Szabo, Chief Business Operations Officer, Federal Student Aid Summary: FY 2005 Official Cohort Default Rates will be released on 9/10/07 Posted on 09-04-2007 FY 2005 Official Cohort Default Rates will be released on September 10, 2007 to all eligible schools. All domestic schools that signed up for the Electronic Cohort Default Rate (eCDR) process will receive their FY 2005 official rate electronically via their SAIG mailboxes. Domestic school not signed up for the eCDR process will have to get their cohort default rates from NSLDS. Foreign schools will receive their notification package via the U.S. Postal Service. Foreign schools that have one or more borrowers in repayment will receive their Loan Record Detail Report (LRDR) as an encrypted Portable Document Format (PDF) file on a CD-ROM. Foreign schools that receive a CD-ROM will also receive a separate letter providing the password needed to decrypt the LRDR.
