| Publication Date: May 18, 2007 Author: William Leith, Acting General Manager, Application, Operations and Delivery Services, Federal Student Aid Summary: Memorial Day Federal Holiday Processing and Customer Service Hours Posted on 05-18-2007 Our Federal offices as well as our Title IV processors and call centers will be closed on Monday, May 28, 2007 to observe the Memorial Day Federal holiday. The Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System will accept and process data from schools and send back responses/acknowledgments on Monday, May 28, 2007, but schools will not be able to receive any Federal funds on that day. Requests for changes in funding levels and for funds will not be processed until Tuesday, May 29, 2007. Note: We are planning to execute a COD System maintenance activity on Sunday, May 27, 2007 of the holiday weekend. Please refer to the “Impact on COD Processing May 27-28, 2007” Electronic Announcement that explains this activity. The Central Processing System (CPS) will accept data on Monday, May 28, 2007 but will not process new Institutional Student Information Records (ISIRs) until Tuesday, May 29, 2007. All Federal Student Aid Web sites will remain operational on the holiday.
