Federal Student Aid would like to remind schools that they can complete enrollment for access to CPS Online tools without the assistance of their third party servicer. We announced this enrollment enhancement for schools that use a third party servicer in an Electronic Announcement posted on December 15, 2006 (http://www.ifap.ed.gov/eannouncements/1214UnavailSAIGEnrollSite.html). This enrollment option is accessible at the Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) Enrollment site (http://www.fsawebenroll.ed.gov).

Along with other enhancements implemented at that time, institutions that enroll in the new CPS Online Services feature are provided full access to the complete array of CPS Online tools; including Student Inquiry, FAFSA Entry, Renewal Entry, Correction Entry, Verification Tool, ISIR Request, ISIR Analysis Tool, and Return to Title IV Funds.

Destination Point Administrators with the CPS Online Service mailbox also have the ability to enroll other members of their staff for access to these tools. This is done through the “Enroll FAA Users for Online Services” option on the SAIG Enrollment site home page.

Federal Student Aid would also like to clarify that data is returned directly to the mailbox (TG#) of the institution that submitted the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), Renewal FAFSA, Correction, ISIR Request, or ISIR Analysis Tool report, not the mailbox of the third party servicer that is servicing that institution. Institutions should keep this in mind when submitting FAFSA or correction data or ISIR requests in this manner.
