Publication Date: February 23, 2007 Author: G. Kay Jacks, General Manager, Application, Operations and Delivery Services, Federal Student Aid Summary: Availability of February 2007 Update to 2007-2008 ISIR Guide Posted on 02-23-2007 Federal Student Aid is pleased to announce the availability of the February 2007 update to the 2007-2008 ISIR Guide. The ISIR Guide assists financial aid administrators with interpreting the information contained in electronic Institutional Student Information Records (ISIRs) returned to schools by the Central Processing System (CPS). The term "ISIR" refers to all processed student information records that the CPS sends to institutions electronically. The February 2007 changes to the ISIR Guide are as follows: ** Updated the "NSLDS Financial Aid History" section to clarify that a 2007-2008 ISIR transaction may contain both 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) payment information for Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG) and National Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent Grant (National SMART Grant) awards. Previously, we did not specify that ACG and National SMART Grant information from both cycles could be included on a 2007-2008 ISIR. ** Updated Appendix B to revise the Correction Application Coordinator's phone number to "(703) 284-5666" in SAR comment 013 of the Student's Social Security Number Match section. ** Updated Appendix B to revise the overpayment contact mailing address to "P.O. Box 5609, Greenville, Texas 75403-5609" in SAR comments 041, 042, 043, 065, 066, 067, 100, 101, 102, 241, 242, 243, 262, 263 and 264 of the NSLDS Match section.
