Kay Jacks, General Manager, Application, Operations and Delivery Services, Federal Student Aid Summary: Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. Federal Holiday Processing and Customer Service Hours Posted on 01-05-2007 Our Federal offices as well as some of our Title IV processors and call centers will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2007 to observe the Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. Federal Holiday. The Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System will accept and process data from schools and send back responses/acknowledgments on Monday, January 15, 2007, but schools will not be able to receive any Federal funds on that day. Requests for changes in funding levels and for funds will not be processed until Tuesday, January 16, 2007. Note: We are planning to execute two COD System upgrade and maintenance activities over the holiday weekend. Please refer to the "Impact on COD Processing January 13-15, 2007 " Electronic Announcement that explains these activities. The Central Processing System (CPS) will accept data on Monday, January 15, 2007 but will not process new Institutional Student Information Records (ISIRs) until Tuesday, January 16, 2007. All Federal Student Aid Web sites will remain operational on the holiday.
