Our Federal offices as well as our Title IV processors and call centers will be closed on Thursday, November 23, 2006 to observe the Thanksgiving Day Federal holiday. In addition, some of the Title IV processors and call centers will be closed on Friday, November 24, 2006.

The Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) School Relations Center will close at 3:00 P.M. (ET) on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 and reopen at 8:00 A.M. (ET) on Friday, November 24, 2006.

The COD System will accept and process data from schools and send back responses/acknowledgments on Thursday, November 23, 2006, but schools will not be able to receive any Federal funds on that day. Requests for changes in funding levels and for funds will not be processed until Friday, November 24, 2006.

The Central Processing System (CPS) will accept data on Thursday, November 23 2006 and Friday, November 24, 2006 but will not process new Institutional Student Information Records (ISIRs) until Monday, November 27, 2006.

All Federal Student Aid Web sites will remain operational on the holiday.
