Kay Jacks, General Manager, FSA Application, School Eligibility and Delivery Services Summary: Number of Applications Received by School by Source for 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 Posted on 05-12-2006 The attached reports provide a count of FAFSAs received by the Central Processing System (CPS) from each school for the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 award years. Each report identifies the source of the application (i.e. paper, electronic, or Web). In addition, the report provides the total number of Web filers from each institution, as well as a list of the top 100 schools for Web filers. The reports are sorted by Federal School Code and are posted in both Excel and PDF format. We have provided reports for the current quarter of 2006-2007, the identical quarter of 2005-2006 (so you may compare 2006-2007 processing with data from the same time last year), and the current quarter (all processing to date) for 2005-2006. Please see each report for the specific dates used to run the report. Please note that the total number of applications on these reports only includes initial (01) transactions, which excludes corrections. Therefore, if a student makes a correction to add your school code and a subsequent transaction is created, that transaction would not be included. The reports do include rejected 01 transactions.
