Kay Jacks, General Manager, FSA Application, School Eligibility and Delivery Services Summary: Christmas and New Year's Federal Holiday Processing and Customer Service Hours Posted on 12-16-2005 Our Federal offices as well as our Title IV processors and call centers will be closed on Monday, December 26, 2005 to observe the Christmas Federal Holiday and again on Monday, January 2, 2006 to observe the New Year's Federal Holiday. (Note: Since Christmas Day and New Year's Day both fall on a Sunday, the following business day is observed for the holiday.) The Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System will accept and process data from schools and send back responses/acknowledgments on Monday, December 26, 2005 and on Monday, January 2, 2006, but schools will not be able to receive any Federal funds on those days. The Central Processing System (CPS) will accept data on Monday, December 26, 2005 and on January 2, 2006 but will not process new Institutional Student Information Records (ISIRs) until Tuesday, December 27, 2005 and January 3, 2006 respectively. The 2006-2007 FAFSA on the Web application will be available to students and parents beginning on January 1, 2006. All Federal Student Aid Web sites will remain operational over the holidays.
