Summary: Field Description Error in 2004-2005, 2005-2006, and draft 2006-2007 EDE Technical References

Posted on 07-27-2005

The CPS would like to alert all users to a field description error in the 2004-2005, 2005-2006, and draft 2006-2007 EDE Technical References.

In Section 3 of the 2004-2005, 2005-2006, and draft 2006-2007 EDE Technical References, the NSLDS Pell Percent Scheduled Award (1), (2), and (3) field descriptions found in the ISIR Record Description/Data Dictionary are incorrect. The field numbers in error are:

** 2004-2005: Fields 323, 333, and 343 **

** 2005-2006: Fields 330, 340, and 350 **

** 2006-2007: Fields 330, 340, and 350 **

The Field Name description incorrectly states "Whole percent with leading zeros, i.e., 50% = 00050."

The Field Name description should read "Percent with two decimal places assumed, i.e., 50% = 05000."

The start and end positions, field length, and valid content have not changed.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this error may have caused.
