Summary: 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 ISIR Processing Delay at The Central Processing System (CPS)

FSA would like to notify the financial aid community that we have experienced a delay in CPS processing for both 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 ISIR data.

Application and correction data received by the CPS for processing on Wednesday, July 13, was not processed during the normal time frame due a systems network outage at one of our external matching agencies. The outage prevented that agency from transmitting match results back to CPS.

This morning, the CPS received the match results for these applications and corrections. We are currently processing the data and will deliver ISIRs to SAIG mailboxes later today.

However, because of this delay, application and correction data received by the CPS on Thursday, July 14, will not be processed until Monday, July 18. The resulting ISIRs will be delivered to SAIG mailboxes Monday evening.

The CPS apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused you. If you have any questions about this message, please contact CPS. The Central Processing System (CPS) /SAIG Technical Support at 800/330-5947 or by e-mail at CPSSAIG@ed.gov.
