This position is located in the Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA), Application, School Eligibility and Delivery Services (ASEDS) School Eligibility Channel. The area of consideration for FSA2005-0174 is "ALL RECRUITING SOURCES" (which includes non-Federal candidates). FSA - JOIN THE TEAM THAT HELPS PUT AMERICA THROUGH SCHOOL
The School Eligibility Channel is looking for someone to take charge of the day-to-day budget and administrative processes for its nationwide organization and assure the proper functioning of the Channel with respect to these areas within the Department, Federal Student Aid, and FSA Application, School Eligibility and Delivery Services.
Major Duties: The primary role of this position is to be the principle budget and administrative resource for the School Eligibility Channel. The nature of this organization, which is engaged in widespread operations and contract supported systems activities, requires a dedicated staff person to oversee the budget planning and implementation process, track expenditures, and to promote and assure fiscal accountability. In addition, there is a need to oversee the proper implementation of other administrative requirements across the organization. This individual will be the principle resource to the School Eligibility Channel management on budgetary, financial, and administrative matters to assure compliance with the operating requirements of FSA and the Department.
