RE: Availability of 2005-2006 CPS Web Applications Demo Site
The U.S. Department of Education is pleased to announce the availability of the 2005-2006 CPS Web Applications Demo Site.
This Web site offers demonstration versions of the FAFSA on the Web and FAA Access to CPS Online Web sites. The Demo site contains all of the features of the production versions of the web sites that will be available January 1, 2005.
The Demo site provides a way for financial administrators to show students and parents how to use FAFSA on the Web. Financial aid office staff can use the site to learn about FAA Access to CPS Online, including the new Return of Title IV Fund on the Web, as well as FAFSA on the Web.
Test student IDs and PINs are available for accessing preloaded renewal application and correction records. These test records can be accessed in both FAFSA on the Web and FAA Access to CPS Online. FAA IDs and PINs are also available for accessing FAA Access to CPS Online. The data you enter is saved for the day you enter it. All data is cleared from the database each evening.
The 2005-2006 CPS Web Applications Demo site is located at fafsademo.test.ed.gov.
The Demo site is password protected. When you go to the site, a login box appears first.
For the User Name (case-sensitive), type: eddemo
For the Password (case-sensitive), type: fafsatest
We hope that you find the Demo site to be a useful tool in your financial aid offices.
