SUBJECT: 2005-2006 FAFSA on the Web Pre-Application Worksheet in English and Spanish
Federal Student Aid (FSA) is pleased to announce that the 2005-06 FAFSA on the Web Pre-Application Worksheet is now available for you to print and distribute to your students. We are again providing both English and Spanish versions of the worksheet in 2005-06.
We encourage students to complete the worksheet prior to filling out their online FAFSA at fafsa.ed.gov. Because the order of the questions on FAFSA on the Web is somewhat different than the paper FAFSA, it is important to tell students to complete the Pre-Application Worksheet instead of a paper FAFSA prior to completing the online application. Please feel free to make copies of the worksheets and distribute them to students.
FSA would like to thank all of you who commented on the 2004-05 version of the Pre-Application Worksheet, earlier this year, when we posted it to IFAP. We have incorporated many of your very helpful suggestions for improving the form and we hope that you like the results.
On November 28, 2004, the Worksheet will be available on FAFSA on the Web. It will also soon be available on Student Aid on the Web at studentaid.ed.gov for students to access.
