SUBJECT: Closing of Federal Government in Memory of Ronald Reagan

President George W. Bush has issued an Executive Order to close the Federal government as a mark of respect for Ronald Reagan, the fortieth President of the United States. As such, our Federal offices will be closed but some of our Title IV processors and call centers will be open on Friday, June 11, 2004. A status of each center is below.

The COD system will accept and process data from schools and send back acknowledgments on Friday. Requests for changes in funding levels and for funds will be processed, however, funds will not be deposited to schools' bank accounts until Monday, June 14. For all other systems, you will be able to send data on Friday, but it may not be processed until Monday. We will resume retrieving, processing, and sending data on Monday, June 14, 2004 as all offices, production centers, and customer service centers will resume normal operations. All FSA Websites will remain operational over the Federal closing.
