RE: Changes to the 2004-2005 EDE Technical Reference
DATE: April 2, 2004

The upcoming EDExpress for Windows 2004-2005, Release 2.0, fixes an issue that under some circumstances truncates error message text that is contained in EAPR05OP, CORE05OP and SIGA05OP files. The issue only affects schools using third-party software or mainframe systems to create initial application files (EAPS05IN), correction files (CORR05IN) and/or signature files (SIGS05IN), and then import the returned error files (EAPR05OP, CORE05OP and/or SIGA05OP) into EDExpress.

The changes listed below will be made in an updated version of the 2004-2005 Electronic Data Exchange (EDE) Technical Reference. A message will be posted when a new version of the technical reference is available.
