Re: Final 2004-2005 Student Aid Report (SAR) and Acknowledgement Mockups

We are pleased to provide you with the final 2004-2005 Student Aid Report (SAR) and SAR Acknowledgement.

The overall format of the 2004-2005 SAR has not changed from the 2003-2004 SAR currently in use. The SARs will be printed on pink paper. The SAR will continue to be in a letter format and will provide instructions about the student's eligibility status, verification requirements and information on how to correct any assumptions made during processing.

The order of the data elements is the same as the order on the 2004-2005 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAA Information section will continue to allow the Financial Aid Administrator to find out every piece of information about a student's eligibility in one place. Also, the National Student Loan Data Systems (NSLDS) section will continue to contain pertinent NSLDS loan history information.
