RE: SAIG Host Communication Guide update

We are pleased to announce a new release of the SAIG Host Communication Guide for Mainframe and Midrange Users, version 2.1. If you use EDconnect PC software to transmit TITLE IV data, then you may disregard this announcement. If you send your TITLE IV data using EasyAccess or TDClient software for mainframe and midrange clients, then please forward this information to the appropriate personnel or technical staff.

Changes were made to the SAIG Transmission Header & Trailer record layout to reflect the increased batch number size for COD. The updated record layout is on page 4-23, figure 4-21, of the SAIG Host Communication Guide. Position 42-67 has been increased to 50 bytes in positions 42-91.

The SAIG Host Communication Guide for Mainframe/Midrange Users is available at www.fsadownload.ed.gov.

If you have questions or suggestions for future enhancements, please contact CPS/WAN Technical Support at (800) 330-5947, or via email at cpswan@ncs.com.
