RE: 2004-2005 EFC Formula Worksheets and Tables
DATE: December 23, 2003
We are pleased to announce the posting of the 2004-2005 Expected Family Contribution (EFC) Formula Worksheets and Tables. Note that because the Congress has not yet completed its work on the Department's fiscal year 2004 appropriations legislation, as of the date of this posting, the maximum EFC in order for a student to be eligible to receive a 2004-2005 Federal Pell Grant has not been determined. Also, for the reasons discussed in an electronic announcement posted to IFAP on December 22, 2003, the "State and Other Tax Allowance"tables provided as part of the attachment to this notice are the 2003-2004 tables that we expect to use in our official calculations of EFCs for the 2004-2005 award year.
