RE: Error message in FAA Access to CPS Online
The Department of Education has received reports from some Financial Aid Administrators that a "Session Expired" error is encountered when attempting to use FAA Access to CPS Online during the "PIN Authentication" process and or the "PIN Request" option on the menu page. The issue is currently being researched and will be fixed as soon as a resolution is identified.
If you encounter the error, perform one of the following procedures listed below for your browser type, and then log in to FAA Access to CPS Online again.
Netscape 4.x, 6.x and 7.x users:
- Select Edit, then Preferences.
- Select Advanced from the Category listing.
- Select Cache.
- Select the Clear Disk Cache button then the Clear Memory Cache buttons.
- Select OK.
Internet Explorer 5.x and 6.x users:
- Select Tools, then Internet Options.
- Select the General tab at the top.
- Select the Clear History button.
- Select Yes to confirm.
- Select Delete Files.
- Select OK.
- Select OK to close the Internet Options Screen.
