RE: Batch Processing Suspended and COD Web Site Outage in Preparation for COD 2.0 Implementation

Release 2.0 of COD is scheduled to be implemented effective Monday, April 14. Among the functionality in this release is the ability for COD to process 2003-2004 Pell and Direct Loan records. In preparation for this release, COD will suspend batch processing beginning at 5:00 PM (ET), on Thursday, April 10. Records submitted after 5:00 PM will be held and processed by Monday, April 14.

In addition, the COD Web Site will be unavailable beginning 8:00 PM (ET), Thursday, April 10, through 7:00 AM (ET), Monday, April 14.

Since GAPS will continue to be available, schools may continue to request funds. However, COD will not send funding adjustments or requests to GAPS until Monday, April 14. Schools needing additional funds during this time are encouraged to submit their records to COD no later than 5:00 PM (ET), Thursday, April 10.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions, contact the COD School Relations Center at 1-800-4PGRANT, 1-800-848-0978 or email CODSupport@acs-inc.com. More information regarding Release 2.0 of the COD System will be posted to IFAP shortly.
