This message is intended for mainframe/third-party software users who process applications for more than one school. It does not apply to users of EDExpress.
A 2003-04 processing requirement may affect users who generate single batches containing applications or corrections for more than one school. As detailed in the SAIG Host Communication Guide, page 4-5, the O*N05 Transmission Header and the O*N95 Transmission Trailer must surround each set of Application System headers and trailers in the data file being sent, as shown in the examples below.
The examples do not represent actual Network and Application System headers and trailers but merely reflect the necessary order of elements.
Data sent in the following format would be processed as separate batches, since each CPS header/trailer is bracketed by the network header/trailer O*N05/O*N95:
