RE: 2003-2004 Dependency Overrides/EFC Adjustment Requests Issue

The Central Processing System (CPS) would like to alert the financial aid community about an issue with 2003-2004 ISIRs on which schools have used professional judgment to make dependency overrides or EFC adjustment requests.

When an FAA performs a dependency override or requests an EFC adjustment, the school that requested the professional judgment should be the only school to receive the new ISIR transaction. Unfortunately, due to a processing glitch, 2003-2004 ISIRs were being returned to all schools listed on the ISIR. This problem is fixed as of March 20, 2003 and only 275 student records were affected.
