RE: Summary of Changes to 2003-04 Student Web Application Products

On January 1, 2003, the U.S. Department of Education implemented the 2003-04 version of FAFSA on the Web. Attached is a summary of the changes we made to FAFSA on the Web, which describes the new streamlined FAFSA on the Web application for students who qualify for an Automatic Zero Expected Family Contribution (EFC) or the Simplified Needs Test, the FAFSA on the Web Pre-Application Worksheet, and other improvements to FAFSA on the Web that make it even easier for students to use.

Below is the website address for you to link to the Summary of Changes to the 2003-04 Student Web Application Products.

Many of the changes we made to FSA’s Web application products were based on suggestions from you and your colleagues, as well as from students and parents. As we continue our efforts to simplify and automate the application process, and respond to the needs of student aid applicants and the financial aid community, we encourage you to share with us your ideas and suggestions for further enhancements.
