Friday, February 14th is your last chance to register to take advantage of this great opportunity to attend the U.S. Department of Education’s 2003 Spring Conference. If you are planning on attending the conference and have not already done so, we urge you to register for the conference on-line and to make your hotel reservations before the cut-off date of Tuesday, February 18th. After this date the sleeping room rate may increase.
The conference will be held at the Westin Crown Center Hotel, One Pershing Road, Kansas City, MO. To make your reservations, you can call the hotel directly at 816-474-4400 or at 1-800-228-3000.
The conference will include a number of sessions designed to highlight our continuing efforts to ensure Federal student aid funds are provided according to programmatic objectives and that the correct amounts are provided to the designated students in a timely manner. We will discuss the Federal need analysis formulas, our verification selection methodology, and the requirements for schools to ensure accuracy in the determination of eligibility.
The conference will bring you up-to-date on what’s happening with the loan programs; share with you best practices from other institutions, lenders, and vendors; and demonstrate that you are the key to successful default prevention.
