The Department is pleased to announce the posting of the updated 2003-2004 SAR/ISIR Comment Codes and Text reference guide, dated January 2003. The guide is available on both the U.S. Department of Education's Federal Student Aid Download Web site (FSAdownload), located at http://FSAdownload.ed.gov, and the Department's Information for Financial Aid Professionals Web site (IFAP), located at http://IFAP.ed.gov
The reference guide is designed as a stand-alone document as well as a companion to the 2003-2004 EDE Technical Reference. � It includes the 2003-2004 SAR Comment Text, the 2003-2004 SAR Acknowledgement Comment Text, and the 2003-2004 ISIR Comment Text.
The document is available in PDF (Adobe Acrobat) format only.
To download the 2003-2004 SAR/ISIR Comment Codes and Text reference guide from FSAdownload:
1) Go to http://FSAdownload.ed.gov.
2) Click on the "References & Documentation" link on the left side of the page.
3) Click on the "2003-2004" link under the "SAR/ISIR Comment Codes and Text" section near the bottom of the next page.
4) On the following page, right-click on the file you wish to download. A pop-up menu will appear.
5) If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, select "Save Target As," then choose a folder to which to save the file. If you are using Netscape, select "Save Link As," then choose a folder to which save the file.
6) Once the file has been saved, open the saved file in Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print the document.
To download the 2003-2004 SAR/ISIR Comment Codes and Text reference guide from IFAP:
1) Go to http://IFAP.ed.gov.
2) Click on "Current Publications" link in the "OTHER VIEWS" section on the left.
3) Find the SAR/ISIR Comment Codes/Text section toward the bottom of the next page.
4) Click on the "2003-2004 SAR/ISIR Comment Code and Text" link.
5) On the following page, right-click on the file you wish to download. A pop-up menu will appear.
6) If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, select "Save Target As," then choose a folder to which to save the file. If you are using Netscape, select "Save Link As," then choose a folder to which save the file.
