Dear Partners:

FSA is pleased to announce the release of a new version the Information for Financial Aid Professional (IFAP) website (<http://ifap.ed.gov>). Since the release of the first version of IFAP, we have actively sought your feedback, comments and suggestions.

In addition, as you know, our organization's name has changed. The old "Student Financial Assistance" is gone. We are now the "Federal Student Aid" programs. With our new name comes a new look. One we hope will provide a clear recognition of FSA and our association to the FAFSA process.

This new version is intended to provide you easy access to the wealth of FSA publications available on IFAP. All of IFAP's offerings are presented on the home page. We've also tried to bring to the forefront those publications that have been difficult to locate under our previous design (e.g. Drug Worksheets, Verification Work Sheets, Pell Grant Payment Schedules).

The Schools Channel is actively updating all of the websites we present for your use. These updates are intended to give our sites a "common look and feel". Please note the series of red buttons (Help Center, Schools Portal, Feedback, Privacy) appearing under the website name. These standard buttons and the FSA masthead will be incorporated into more of our websites over time.

As always, your feedback is key to future enhancements. Please try out the new site and let us know what you think. You can contact the Schools Channel Customer Service Call Center (CSCC) via email at: fsa.customer.support@ed.gov <mailto:fsa.customer.support@ed.gov>, by phone on 1-800-433-7327, or by fax on (202) 275-5532. You can also send us your feedback, directly from the IFAP website via the "Feedback" button, which appears in the red horizontal bar near the top of the home page.

We hope you will find the new design an improvement in our offerings. We look forward to hearing your comments.
