Summary: SFATECH Listserve Changes to FSATECH Listserve
FSATECH is an e-mail listserve maintained by the Federal Student Aid programs in the U.S. Department of Education as a way to share information about our electronic systems with financial aid professionals. (FSA systems include EDExpress, FISAP, etc.) Its goals are to provide accurate and timely answers to technical questions about FSA systems, software, and mainframe products, and to create an environment where users of FSA systems can help one another resolve technical issues.
As a part of our ongoing conversion to the name Federal Student Aid,the SFATECH listserve will become the FSATECH listserve. This will have no effect on current subscribers, who will continue to receive postings or the daily digest as in the past. However, the subscription feature will now be known as FSATECH, and we encourage users to post future messages to fsatech@inet.ed.gov (the old address will still be operational for several months to make the transition easier).
Please note that we have simplified the process for changing your subscription options. If you want to subscribe or would like to switch to the daily digest, you can do this quickly and conveniently at:

If you have any questions, about FSATECH, please email your question to: fsatech@inet.ed.gov.
