Dear Experimental Sites Partner:

I am pleased to share with you the 2000-2001 Experimental Sites Initiative Analysis Report. This report is based on KPMG Consulting’s analysis of the data collected and compiled from your 2000-2001 institutional annual reports.

As I said at the QA/Experimental Sites Conference in Baltimore, MD, "The Department of Education has learned that we can learn from you." You have shown us there are lots of ways of doing business. The results of these experimental areas continue to describe the benefits of the flexibility that accrues to you and your students. Now we must focus our efforts on collaboratively changing the administration and delivery of student financial aid programs for the broader aid community.

I appreciate your support of the Department's Experimental Sites Initiative. Let us continue to work together to improve services to students, families and institutions.

Sincerely,

G. Kay Jacks
