The Department of Education is pleased to announce the posting of the electronic version of the Student Status Confirmation Report (SSCR) Desk Reference on the U.S. Department of Education's Student Financial Assistance Download (FSAdownload) Web site (located at FSAdownload.ed.gov).
The SSCR Desk Reference contains an overview of the SSCR process and includes valuable information on the SSCR roster import/update/export process, queries, printing, SSCR message classes, and other topics.
The desk reference is available in two formats: Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word. To download a copy:
1) Type the following URL into your browser's Address or Location field: http://www.fsadownload.ed.gov
2) On the FSAdownload Web site main page, click on Software on the left side of the page.
3) Scroll down and click on the SSCR Version 1.2 link
4) Click the "Desk Reference" link for the Adobe Acrobat or Microsoft Word version of the Desk Reference and download the document. Once downloaded, open the document in the appropriate software to view and print the Desk Reference.
Other 2002-2003 Electronic Desk References posted on the FSAdownload Web site include Application Processing, Packaging, Direct Loan, and Pell. Electronic Desk References are also available for Edconnect and QA Tool.
To find these Electronic Desk References, point your browser to http://www.fsadownload.ed.gov, select Software on the menu on the left side of the page, scroll down to and click on the link to the software title in which you're interested, then find and click on the Adobe Acrobat or Microsoft Word links as appropriate.
